| Dear Students & Parents, Welcome to third
grade. I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year.
Students will learn lots of new skills this year. I tend to focus
on developing skills and applying those skills to our work product.
I have found students are excited about learning when they can learn new
concepts and apply these concepts in a meaningful way. It is my goal to
accomplish this each day. This creates an excitement about learning and
creates an environment where children are happy about coming to school
each day. I have often been surprised at the quality and
understanding demonstrated through their interactions with each other
and their work.
